Woman’s Hospital’s Non-Clinical Summer Internship Program offers college students a structured, project-based experience within a healthcare environment. Interns are assigned to a specific department and work on meaningful initiatives that support hospital operations while gaining professional experience, mentorship, and exposure to non-clinical healthcare careers. Woman’s Hospital is the largest specialty hospital for women and infants in the region and is committed to developing future talent through hands-on learning and service excellence. The Industrial Engineering Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting project management, process improvement, and change management initiatives within Woman’s Hospital. This role focuses on applying industrial engineering and continuous improvement principles to analyze workflows, support performance improvement efforts, and assist with the planning and execution of projects. The intern will work closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) and operational leaders to support initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce variation, and support sustainable change across the organization. Application Requirements & Timeline: Applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program relevant to the internship discipline (Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field). Applicants must be available to participate in the full internship program during the designated summer session (June 1 - July 31, 2026) .
