JOB DESCRIPTION The Engineering Intern is responsible for assisting the Dexter Team with engineering project dentification, project support, and project leadership as assigned by partnering and collaborating with the Engineering Team and Site Team. As an Industrial Engineering Intern, you will be working on robust, hands-on projects. Potential projects may include, but not limited to: Project definition, scoping and documented project plan Continuous improvement Capital projects Safety improvements Automation Debottlenecking and capacity utilization Time studies Ergonomic studies and improvements Troubleshooting equipment and processes Plant layout Project estimation Material handling Create documents, drawings, training as needed to support and complete project(s)
