Schneider Electric has an opportunity for an Industrial Engineering Intern in our Mechaniscburg, PA facility for the Summer starting in May of 2026. This position is on-site so the ideal candidate will be located in the general area. This will be a full-time position. No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role. What do you get to do in this internship? Participate in Lean process development initiatives. Ensure manufacturing and repair processes comply with quality assurance standards. Critical work instruction updates by documenting ongoing changes to maintain repository updated. Analyze data and make suggestions for process improvement. Assist Logistics Engineering Manager and team in Logistics process management in the distribution center. Assist in building process improvement awareness and programs. Utilize Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and Tableau to manage dashboards. Other projects as needed / working alongside the engineering team. This job might be for you if: Currently enrolled in a four-year university program. Preferred field of study include Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related Comfortable using digital tools (Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, ERP, Tableau, etc.). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. The ability to influence and convince yet maintain an open mind to other ideas and approaches. Organized and able to handle multiple demands and assignments in parallel, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently.
