This is a paid full-time onsite position for the summer.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or mechanical engineering
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Completed Sophomore year of college
• No relocation assistance provided

Responsibilities

• Daily Management Systems deployment and tracking & 5S Implementation and tracking in SharePoint
• Help with gap analysis assessments (Value Steam Mapping, maturity assessment, WMS)
• Monitor / validate progress towards our goals (Visual workplace, Policy Deployment)
• Coordinate A3 and 8D activities and assisting teams in tracking data
• Deploy advanced reporting systems to improve access to critical information by area management
• Lead Operational Excellence projects that are critical to short and long-term strategic goals
• Facilitate and coach improvement teams
• Help identify barriers to project success and solicit help from program champions
• Use WEC resources for learning in Six Sigma, Lean, WMS, technology, processes and tools
