About The Position
Trust Automation has over 30 years of experience in custom motors, linear drives, digital drives, and systems which meet the unique needs of its customers. Its product line includes motors, linear drives, digital drives, custom assemblies, and products to fit unique applications and ground-up system design and manufacturing solutions. We design, build and support control and power management systems for the most demanding defense, semiconductor, industrial automation, and medical applications. You will be introduced to useful tools and resources that will help you grow both professionally and personally during this experience. This internship will run from June to August 2026.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be willing and able to perform the job duties as assigned
- Must successfully pass a background check and all pre-employment requirements
Responsibilities
- Help bring Industrial Engineering and Lean Manufacturing best practices to the company
- Identify gaps and opportunities for reductions in labor and lead-time
- Design production cell/line(s) for throughout, visual management, ergonomics
- Perform time studies, calculations and simulations to validate current and future state
- Iterate and improve on solutions using PDCA/DMAIC
