About The Position

Job Summary Trust Automation’s Paid Internship Program is designed to offer opportunities for students to help build their resumes, apply academic knowledge, and network with professionals in their fields of interest while encouraging participants to obtain their educational degree or professional certification. As a student intern you’ll have the opportunity to take part in meaningful work and real-life projects, explore future career possibilities, gain a deeper understanding of your path, and participate in networking activities in the Manufacturing Engineering department. You will be introduced to useful tools and resources that will help you grow both professionally and personally during this experience. This internship will run from June to August 2026.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be willing and able to perform the job duties as assigned
  • Must successfully pass a background check and all pre-employment requirements

Responsibilities

  • Help bring Industrial Engineering and Lean Manufacturing best practices to the company
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for reductions in labor and lead-time
  • Design production cell/line(s) for throughout, visual management, ergonomics
  • Perform time studies, calculations and simulations to validate current and future state
  • Iterate and improve on solutions using PDCA/DMAIC
