This position is responsible for designing, planning and leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives within Global Industrial that constantly strive to eliminate waste, improve customer satisfaction, and increase market share. Responsibilities include the direct application of Lean tools and continuous improvement methodologies across all functions within Global Industrial's distribution center network through observation, analysis, and conclusive recommendations. The Industrial Engineer will work with multiple, inter-department leaders to achieve and exceed the company's Accelerated Customer Experience (ACE) strategic goals by focusing and driving Labor Management, Quality of Service, Elimination of Waste, Lead-Time Reduction and Cost Reduction. This position has a direct responsibility in defining and executing strategies that deliver significant, quantifiable process improvement and financial benefit.
