The position involves module assembly (CPM, FEM, AGS) and sequencing planning and execution. The role requires planning and designing concepts, evaluating, optimizing, writing specifications, and following up with suppliers for light industrial equipment, including assembly facilities, warehousing, assembly lines for automotive modules, assembly cells for automotive modules, assembly jigs and fixtures, gauges for quality checks, headlamp alignment processes, and lifting devices. The candidate must meet deliverables in terms of quality, deadlines, cost efficiency, and process capabilities. Additionally, the role includes developing tooling and processes to handle class A surfaces for exterior and interior modules, implementing lean processes, continuous improvement, assembly time optimization, and optimizing material and information flow with minimal inventories. Proactive communication with program teams and remote functional experts is essential, as well as supervising suppliers and documenting the execution of equipment and fixtures. The candidate will also support adherence to health and safety requirements and take precautions to protect the health and safety of workers, visitors, and contractors during facility service work and new fabrication. Responsibilities include installation, procurement, and supervisory oversight of new plant equipment and maintenance repair services, quoting machinery and tooling.
