About The Position

Your mission The Industrial Engineer will architect and optimize the operating system of a high-volume 3D print farm, driving throughput, quality, labor productivity, and capital efficiency. The role designs engineered labor standards, capacity models, production planning logic, continuous improvement systems, and automation initiatives to scale from hundreds to thousands of printers while maintaining >85% printer uptime and success rate targets. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
  • 3–10+ years of manufacturing or advanced manufacturing experience
  • Experience with time studies, labor modeling, and capacity analysis
  • LEAN certification (Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred)
  • Experience in multi-shift, high-throughput production environments

Responsibilities

  • Production planning and printer capacity modeling
  • Engineered labor standards and workforce optimization
  • Performance management KPI framework (uptime, success rate, yield, productivity)
  • LEAN Six Sigma, Kaizen events, 6S implementation, and A3 problem solving
  • Data and dashboard integration with IT systems
  • Automation initiatives including material handling, conveyance, and robotics
