Supports new component manufacture for Industrial Steam Turbine small component manufacture and assembly.
Completes the development and implementation of manufacturing work instructions for complex machining processes including line-ups, standard operating processes, and quality control process sheets for lathes, VBMs, multi-axis milling machines, and mill-turn machines.
Develops Manufacturing Quality Control Plans.
Reviews BOMs and Material Masters for completeness and update as necessary for proper manufacturing of components and assemblies.
Determines quantity of raw material required for orders and initiate material procurement process.
Participates and lead in manufacturing process improvement projects.
Assists shop machinists in completing manufacturing processes and complex machining activities effectively.
Leads and supports CAPEX projects and calculations of return on investment.
Supports quoting efforts by providing cost estimates.
Related associate's degree or higher education. BSME, BSIE or similar engineering degree preferred.
3+ years of Industrial and/or Manufacturing engineering experience in a machine shop environment.
Project management or team leadership experience with demonstrated delivery of improvement projects in a manufacturing environment.
Experienced user of SAP.
Experience in implementing and/or improving manufacturing processes, information, facilities, and production planning in a shop environment.
Experience in crafting cost estimates, analysis of return on investment, and abilities to carry out crucial business administration duties.
