This role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record in implementing process improvement initiatives. This position is fully remote This role is an Individual Contributor position

Requirements

  • Labor Management (MTM or MOST preferred)
  • Lean Six Sigma methodologies
  • Distribution Operation knowledge
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience as an Industrial Engineer in a manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environment
  • Proven experience in implementing and maintaining a labor management system.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of a new labor management system from concept to steady state for the Supply Chain Distribution network
  • Develop and apply Predetermined Motion Time Systems (e.g., MTM, MOST) and conduct detailed time studies to establish accurate and fair Engineered Labor Standards (ELS) for all direct and indirect labor tasks
  • Conduct regular audits and re-evaluations of existing standards to account for process changes, new equipment, or product modifications
  • Develop and deliver training programs for supervisors and employees on the principles of labor standards, time studies, and the proper use of the labor management system
  • Utilize data analysis techniques to provide insights into labor costs, productivity trends, and operational bottlenecks
