About The Position

The Industrial Engineer Intern position at Burlington offers a hands-on internship experience that mirrors the responsibilities of a full-time associate. Interns will receive mentorship from experienced Industrial Engineers and engage in meaningful projects that enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Graduating between December 2025 and May 2026.
• Affinity for process improvement and technical problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Data-driven problem-solver with strong communication skills.
• Ability to think critically with high attention to detail.
• Self-starter with initiative and adaptability.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs, especially proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and implement operations and process improvements.
• Define 'Best Methods' for warehouse job functions.
• Identify, propose, and develop improved operational and key metrics reporting.
• Conduct analysis and implementation of enhancements to existing work methods, flows, and processes to increase throughput.
• Partner with senior management on planning and executing process improvement projects.
