About The Position
The position focuses on driving continuous improvement methods to achieve significant enhancements in logistics performance metrics. The role involves understanding data trends and implementing analytical systems and processes to drive quantified results. The candidate will optimize the value stream by eliminating waste and improving flow across manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and service product operations. Responsibilities include evaluating internal process controls, conducting engineering analysis, and assisting in project implementation with quality tools and ongoing success measures. The role also requires developing and implementing manufacturing facility designs, optimizing layouts using CAD and simulation tools, and utilizing six sigma tools for root cause analysis. Continuous improvement projects will be driven with the goal of minimizing cycle time and reducing costs while maintaining safety and quality standards. The position may require physical demands such as standing for extended periods, working in tight spaces, and using personal protective equipment in clean room environments.
