Reporting to the Director of CIP and Automation, the Manufacturing Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing and interpreting data from manufacturing processes to optimize operations, enhance efficiency, and support decision-making in automated environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years related experience; or an equivalent in combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience in industrial engineering converting manual processes to automated.
• Ideal candidates will have a background working in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of automation technologies, including PLCs, robotics, and process control systems.
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., CAD, simulation software).
• Six Sigma Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate current production processes and workflows to identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
• Design, implement, and optimize automated systems and processes to enhance efficiency and minimize manual labor.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate automation technologies, such as robotics and software solutions, into existing systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for potential automation projects.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance and reliability of automated systems, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal operation.
• Provide training and ongoing support to staff on new automated systems and processes.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in automation and industrial engineering.
• Develop and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress over time.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in production data to recommend actionable improvements.
• Work closely with engineering and operations teams to implement data-driven strategies for process optimization and continuous improvement.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
