About The Position

The Industrial Electromechanical Maintenance Technician (EMMT) at Global Water Resources, Inc. is a full-time, on-site role critical for the efficient operation and maintenance of electromechanical systems and equipment. The technician will leverage their expertise in both electrical and mechanical disciplines to troubleshoot, repair, and enhance service delivery within the organization. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on growth and community investment.

Requirements

  • Strong background in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair of electromechanical systems.
  • Valid AZ driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Experience in dynamic fields involving high-speed production or large-scale processing facilities.
  • Ability to understand control systems and link complex events across large-scale applications.
  • Experience with highly instrumented and automated systems, including PLC, P&ID, and ladder logic.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with advanced technology systems such as oil & gas industry or military engineering/operations.
  • Outstanding logistical, organizational, coordination, and planning skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electromechanical systems and equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to identify issues with electrical and mechanical components.
  • Utilize tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to test electrical circuits and components.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve system reliability and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and equipment status.
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and conditional maintenance on various assets including pumps, motors, drives, and controllers.
  • Utilize CMMS software to track, trend, and complete work orders.
  • Respond to on/off-duty emergencies and participate in on-call rotation.
  • Develop and document maintenance schedules.
  • Analyze work history, asset condition, and costs.
