About The Position

As an Industrial Electro‑Mechanical Maintenance Specialist, you’ll be part of the team that keeps our Tampa operation running 24/7 on weekends—so clinicians and patients can count on us without interruption. A day in this role Imagine starting a weekend shift with a quick review of the computerized work order queue. You plan your route, prioritize safety, and gear up: Close out daily work orders and perform upgrades on facility and production equipment. Diagnose issues in control cabinets, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and main electrical distribution panels—then repair to standard. Execute scheduled Preventive Maintenance on production, facility, and lab systems to prevent downtime. Support Utilities on general repairs and passivation activities. Collaborate with Engineering on projects that improve reliability and throughput. Machine or repair parts using shop tools; operate a lathe, mill, and welder when needed (preferred but not required). Work within GMP/SOP expectations; keep training, documentation, and safety logs current. Practice strict LOTO, PPE, and good housekeeping; perform confined space entries and maintain respirator qualification (training provided). Operate effectively in an aseptic environment (training provided). Scope and impact You will process daily work orders and preventive maintenance while troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading production, facility, and laboratory equipment—helping ensure continuous operations and product quality.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma/GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of controls/electrical experience with a logical, methodical approach to troubleshooting.
  • 5+ years of applicable industry experience or relevant technical training.
  • Strong organizational skills; able to work quickly under pressure with high attention to detail and quality.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Comfort with hand, electrical, and precision measuring tools.

  • ability to operate a lathe and milling machine.
