About The Position
Interfor is seeking energetic and enthusiastic team players to join our team as a Industrial Electrician in Eatonton, Georgia. The role involves performing any and all electrical repair and improvement projects throughout the entire mill site, reading, writing, and understanding electrical schematics, equipment drawings, and blueprints, and performing routine preventative maintenance duties. The electrician will troubleshoot, maintain and repair all Programmable Logic Controller (P.L.C.) controls, A.C inverters, or any other control systems throughout the mill site. Adhering to an absolute lock-out policy is crucial, ensuring that the power source is turned off, machine locked out, and tested to ensure isolation. The role requires effective management and planning of work to accomplish job tasks with minimal direct supervision, submitting work requests, and filling out completed work orders listing work done, parts used, and time taken to complete the job. Additionally, the electrician may perform any other duties in any area requested by the Supervisor.
