We have an opportunity for an Industrial Electrician to join our Moorpark, CA team. You will support electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation work within a large industrial manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for the safe operation, repair, and continuous improvement of facility power distribution, industrial controls, and production equipment electrical systems.

Requirements

  • Active California C‑10 Electrical Contractor License in good standing (required).
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience (manufacturing environment preferred).
  • Equipment such as injection molding systems, conveyors and packaging lines, process equipment, compressors, facility utilities.
  • Strong working knowledge of 3‑phase electrical systems, power distribution, motor controls, VFDs, and industrial troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of NEC compliance and NFPA 70E safe work practices.
  • Ability to use electrical test equipment, including digital multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation resistance testers (Megger preferred).
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple work orders, and respond effectively to urgent downtime situations.
  • Ability to climb ladders, operate lifts, work in tight spaces, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for 8 – 12 hours a day.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility electrical distribution systems, including 480Y/277V and 208Y/120V power, switchgear, panels, transformers, feeders, and disconnects.
  • Perform electrical installations and modifications, including conduit (EMT, rigid, IMC, Sealtite, flex), wire pulls, terminations, labeling, lighting, receptacles, disconnects, motor feeds, and equipment power drops.
  • Support industrial equipment and systems such as motors, contactors, relays, control transformers, VFDs, soft starters, and basic control wiring (start/stop circuits, E‑stops, interlocks, safety circuits).
  • Read and interpret one‑line diagrams, power distribution prints, electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and OEM manuals.
  • Perform and document safe work practices, including Lockout/Tagout procedures, verification of absence of voltage, and arc‑flash mitigation per NFPA 70E.
  • Support shutdowns, equipment moves, electrical room upgrades, and facility infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate and support outside contractors, inspections, and project work as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, preventive maintenance, and work orders in the CMMS system.
