About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems (480V and below) in an industrial environment. This role supports plant operations by performing preventative and emergency maintenance while ensuring compliance with NEC standards and safety practices. Industrial experience required. Residential electricians will not be considered.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3–5+ years of industrial electrical experience (480V and below)
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience with PLCs and VFDs
- Knowledge of electrical test equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree or technical certification
- Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot 480V and lower-voltage electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Diagnose and repair industrial equipment, PLCs, and VFDs
- Perform preventative and emergency repairs to plant equipment
- Work with mechanical and electrical systems across the facility
- Follow NEC standards and maintain safe work practices
