About The Position

Chapel Electric Co., LLC (“Chapel), an EMCOR Company, is a leading electrical services company providing preconstruction, construction, and energy solutions in a variety of markets, including automotive, commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, and mission critical. Chapel is one of six Ohio-based business units under parent company Quebe Holdings, Inc. Chapel Electric is looking for an Industrial Electrician with an ISA Instrumentation Certification. This position pays $37.25 / hr. and includes paid health insurance (at no cost to you) and paid pension and annuity.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED required.
Previous electrical experience required.
ISA Instrumentation Certification required.
Valid Driver’s License.
Must have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English, cooperate, and collaborate with multiple levels of customers, employees.
Must be able to move/lift heavy objects, climb vertical ladders, work at heights and be proficient in the use of common hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment, such as oscilloscopes, ammeters, or test lamps.
Repair and install electrical devices such as receptacles, light fixtures, light switches, lighting ballast, motors, etc.
Assists in keeping building common and electrical spaces in a neat, orderly and safe condition.
Accomplishes work in accordance with blueprints and specifications, and national and local codes.
Updates as-built drawings as necessary, according to department policies.
Attend Tool Box safety meetings and demonstrate safety competency in addition to any other recommended topics such as harassment prevention, ethics, etc.
Obtain an OSHA 10 General Industry Safety and Health standards certification.
Extended hours or weekend overtime may be available.
