Responsible for diagnosing and repairing issues with electrical equipment. Inspect electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures, and other components on a routine basis to ensure they remain functional and up to code, as well as to identify any hazards or issues. Preventative Maintenance: Assist Maintenance Manager with scheduling all required maintenance of equipment and the facility. Ability to enter maintenance activities into ERP system; including frequencies and spare parts needed for the activities. Able to create/print Purchase Orders of needed spare / replacement parts to insure availability of all required materials. Maintain necessary records of repairs. Enter completed work orders in computer. Manage industrial housekeeping. Comply with Safety requirements. Other tasks: Diagnostics and repair/replacement of temperature sensing and control instrumentation. Ability to maintain furnace temperature uniformities and to perform TUS/SAT tests. Perform maintenance tasks as necessary. Facilitate interface with outside vendors. Initiate and monitor contracts with Maintenance Coordinator/Purchasing. Assist with the maintenance of industrial production machinery. When requested by Supervisor will assist operators on all production equipment including vacuum and tempering furnaces.
