About The Position
We are hiring an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to support a limestone plant by troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing plant equipment, including Allen Bradley PLC systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industrial electrical experience
- Strong PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley preferred)
- Experience with motor controls, drives, and electrical systems
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
- Basic computer skills (MS Office; SAP/AutoCAD a plus)
- Ability to work shifts, overtime, and on-call
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Work at heights and in confined spaces
- Comfortable in dusty, noisy, outdoor environments
Nice To Haves
- Journeyman license or technical certification
- Mining, manufacturing, or heavy industrial experience
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems, motor controls, and instrumentation
- Perform electrical maintenance on switchgear (up to 4160V), VFDs, and power systems
- Calibrate and maintain sensors, flow meters, valves, and control loops
- Install conduit, motors, and electrical components
- Perform preventive maintenance and complete work orders
- Support plant uptime by minimizing downtime
