We have an exciting opportunity for an Industrial Electrician at our Hedrick site in Fremont, Iowa site. VISA Sponsorship is not available for this position. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position. This position is 100% onsite. What You Will Do: Ensure proper operation of all facility equipment—including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control systems, and HVAC—supporting both process and plant operations. Perform electrical repairs, preventive maintenance, and scheduled inspections in accordance with established guidelines and procedures. Support and help lead the plant’s electrical safety program, promoting safe work practices within the maintenance team. Troubleshoot, service, and repair electrical and mechanical issues throughout the campus as they arise. Follow all quality systems and safety requirements, including environmental regulations, OSHA standards, and PSM procedures, as part of daily work responsibilities. Recommend improvements to enhance electrical safety and reliability, including system modifications, process changes, and the addition of new devices or hardware. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • You have a valid US driver’s license.
  • You have 2 years of experience and/or education in an Industrial Electrician/Maintenance field.
  • Comfortable working at heights while using required fall‑protection equipment.
  • Able to work in a cold or refrigerated warehouse environment.
  • Strong commitment to safety, including assisting teammates; able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Skilled at scheduling work orders and consistently following up to ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Able to read, understand, and interpret the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Willing to work a daytime schedule with flexibility for overtime and weekend work when needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Iowa Journeyman electrical license.
