Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent education.
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in an industrial or commercial maintenance background.
  • Trade school education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
  • Ability to follow and carry out written and oral instructions and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment operation experience.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including rotating shift assignment.
  • Ability to function well as a member of the work team.

Nice To Haves

  • Post high school education preferred.
  • General 01 or 07 journeyman license with the State of WA.

Responsibilities

  • Examine equipment to diagnose trouble and affect repairs or replacement of broken parts and adjusts functional parts of equipment as required.
  • Adhere to established industry and safety practices.
  • Inspect completed work and ensure that work conforms to requirements of local building and safety codes. WAC 2966-127-01323 and WAC 296-127-01322.

Benefits

  • Salary: Starting at $54.18 per hour increasing to $57.03 after a 6 month probationary period, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
