About The Position

We are seeking a Licensed Journeyperson Electrician to join our growing team in Eagan! This opening is for the 6pm-6am shift on a 4 days on/4 days off rotating schedule. Starting pay for the night shift is $56.86/hour plus night shift differential 0.80. Position Overview: Work Schedule: 6:00pm-6:00am on a rotating 4 days on, 4 days off Starting Pay: $56.86/hour plus night shift differential 0.80  Signing Bonus: $10,000 (paid in two installments: 30 days from hire & 6 months from hire) Additional Perks: weekly paychecks, bonus potential, generous healthcare benefits, matching 401k with NO vesting schedule, PTO, paid breaks, tuition reimbursement, and gym reimbursement.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Currently valid Minnesota Class A Electrical Journeyworker License
  • Previous experience with conduit bending and install
  • Previous work experience with high voltage as well as single phase, three phase, and DC motors
  • Ability to pass pre-employment tests including background check, drug screen, and physical
  • Ability and willingness to wear full-mask respirator directly against skin (eg clean shaven if applicable) with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability and willingness to wear full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas (respirator, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, boots, and hearing protection) with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability and willingness to work in a hot production area in full PPE with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability and willingness to move about the plant, including stairs and ladders with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability and willingness to lift and/or carry up to 80 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

Nice To Haves

  • Previous project management experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) of all plant and facility electrical systems
  • Troubleshooting electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits
  • Troubleshooting and maintenance of variable frequency drives, motor starters, damaged wiring and conduit, HVAC equipment, overhead door equipment, scales and hoists
  • Troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation (flow meters, flow indicators, thermocouples, pH probes, pressure transducers, etc.)
  • Assistance with drawings and the organization and inventory of electrical spare parts
  • Active commitment to all Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) regulations
  • Other duties as assigned by management
