About The Position

The Industrial Electrician I supports installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial electrical systems in manufacturing, energy, and process-driven environments. This role works closely with engineers, controls technicians, and operations teams to ensure safe, code-compliant, and reliable electrical systems.

Requirements

• Journeyman-level experience or equivalent industrial background.
• Strong understanding of industrial power distribution and motor control.
• Ability to use multimeters, megohmmeters, and basic test equipment.
• Experience working in manufacturing, utilities, or process environments.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test power and control wiring (120V–480V AC, 24V DC).
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, one-lines, and wiring diagrams.
• Perform troubleshooting on motors, MCCs, VFDs, transformers, panels, and field devices.
• Assist with commissioning activities, loop checks, and startup support.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
• Follow NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and site-specific safety procedures.
• Document work performed and update redlines as required.
