About The Position

C&W Services is the industry leader in cutting-edge maintenance and janitorial programs for facilities ranging corporate office portfolios and manufacturing plants to large public venues-keeping our client's facility running smoothly all the time. The Industrial Electrical Technician - Mid position is located in Dayton, OH, with a salary range of $26.01 - $30.37 per hour, depending on experience. The working hours are Monday - Thursday, 7:00AM - 5:30PM. Requirements

  • Possess a high school degree or an approved GED.
  • Electronics or Industrial Electricity preferred but not required.
  • Ability to obtain State Journeyman Electrical License upon meeting state qualifications.
  • Ability to obtain ISA's CCST Level 1 Certification.
  • 2-5 years of mechanical experience and/or 1-2 years of education in Electronics or Industrial Electricity preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment.
  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures including PJHA process and Observation process.
  • Use hand tools and power tools daily.
  • Be willing to work all shifts including holidays and weekends as required.
  • Work from elevated areas using fall protection equipment.
  • Adhere to the published work schedule while being flexible based on workload.
  • Work without direct supervision on daily assigned tasks.
  • Maintain compliance with all company and customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Utilize industrial powered vehicles such as RTFL, Forklift, Aerial Lift, and Scissor Lift.
  • Install, repair, and maintain industrial electrical components and equipment.
  • Perform calibration and documentation of instrumentation functions.
  • Terminate motor starters and control & power wires.
  • Cut, thread, bend, and install raceway and cable trays.
  • Communicate with team members for planning and development.
  • Maintain personal tools and provide an up-to-date documented personal tool list.
  • Meet physical requirements of the job.
  • Perform administrative duties including time accounting and work order completion.
  • Maintain positive customer and employee relations.
