Purpose of the job: Under minimal supervision, apply electrical skills in order to perform corrective and preventative maintenance for production, fabrication, service equipment, and facilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to the following: Industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Electrical Experience Ability to read electrical schematics. Hardwire/relay logic. Hands on exposure to automation and PLCs General mechanical Experience Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics and pneumatics Experience with 480VAC,120v AC, 24vDC and 4-20mA systems Capable of interpreting schematics, blueprints, and PI&D drawings Troubleshoot; evaluate and repair; devise and improvise; make corrections or adjustments; use tools and testing devices to maintain equipment under the direction of the Maintenance Manager. In depth PLC knowledge; Root cause analysis Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on production equipment, facilities equipment, laboratory equipment and testing equipment. Identify ways to improve our maintenance program through continuous improvement techniques, technology and knowledge sharing Maintain awareness of new systems and techniques in order to upgrade existing equipment and processes. Knowledge of safe working practices such as lock out tag out, confined space, PPE, NFPA arc flash Follow safety procedures and work carefully at all times to prevent injuries and avoid damage to company property. Regular and predictable attendance. Complete and maintain all required reports. Effectively communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers to achieve company goals and objectives. OTHER FUNCTIONS: Regularly keep equipment and work area clean and organized. Routinely check tools to keep in proper working order. Help maintain inventory of repair parts and supplies.
