We are seeking a skilled and versatile Industrial Foreman to lead teams in both electrical and welding operations across a wide range of industrial projects. This hands-on leadership role requires technical expertise in electrical systems and welding processes, strong supervisory skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. The Foreman will coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure seamless execution of installations, maintenance, and repairs. Travel is required for this position, including extended out-of-state assignments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical and welding work.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in an industrial setting.
  • Valid electrical journeyman or master electrician license is a plus.
  • Proficiency in multiple welding techniques and materials.
  • Strong understanding of NEC, OSHA regulations, and safety practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%).
  • Lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Work in confined spaces, at heights, and in various weather conditions.
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods.
  • Operate in noisy, fast-paced environments with active equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise installation of industrial electrical systems including power distribution, motor controls, PLCs, and lighting.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Perform inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Assist mechanical teams with integration of electrical components into industrial machinery.
  • Coordinate control wiring and power supply setup for mechanical systems.
  • Lead welding crews in shop and field environments.
  • Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core welding.
  • Ensure welds meet AWS/ASME specifications and quality standards.
  • Inspect and test welds using visual and non-destructive methods.
  • Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper usage.
  • Train and mentor junior welders and apprentices.
  • Direct and motivate cross-functional teams of electricians and welders.
  • Monitor performance and ensure work meets project timelines and quality expectations.
  • Collaborate with project managers to review blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Manage materials and ensure proper storage and availability.
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and PPE usage.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and regular equipment checks.
  • Support rigging, fabrication, and millwright duties as needed.
