The Industrial Electrical Estimator position at ROLINC Staffing involves supporting the Electrical team in the construction of new industrial plants and the expansion of existing facilities. This role requires the preparation of complete proposal packages and accurate cost estimates for projects valued at $25 million or more. The position is remote with travel requirements of 15%-20% to various states, and candidates must be willing to relocate to Arizona or Colorado.

  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project specifications.
  • Analyze drawings, blueprints, and documents to identify scope and requirements.
  • Develop precise estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs using industry-standard software.
  • Create comprehensive project budgets focusing on accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Submit competitive, well-structured bids on time.
  • Partner with procurement teams to obtain up-to-date pricing for materials and subcontractors.
  • Identify potential risks in project execution and integrate mitigation strategies.
  • Suggest cost-effective alternatives while maintaining project quality.
  • Work closely with project management teams to ensure budget alignment.
  • Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to refine estimate accuracy.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial construction estimating.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Experience with Trimble or similar estimation software.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field (preferred).
  • Direct experience in industrial or commercial electrical construction.
  • Familiarity with Accubid Estimating Software.
