About The Position

The Industrial Electrical Engineer position at Ultium Cells involves overseeing and improving electrical systems within a cutting-edge battery cell manufacturing plant. Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering preferred
• 2-5+ years of related work experience ideal
• Ideally have prior industrial electrician experience - Journeyman's card
• Understanding of basic circuits and electronic schematic symbols
• Experience with BMS (Battery Management Systems) preferred
• Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation
• Able to work flexible hours occasionally to support team needs
• Demonstrated teamwork and effectiveness in accomplishing goals

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Battery Management Systems (BMS) preferred

Responsibilities

• Review building systems, electrical storage capacities, etc.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues in equipment
• Implement and run a variety of projects while performing duties
• Review installations and operations to stay aligned with safety and equipment specifications
• Provide support to the manufacturing department and assist in establishing electrical designs
• Other duties as assigned
