About The Position

This person will be responsible for performing various types of maintenance, upkeep and replacing parts on personnel and roll-up doors in and around an industrial facility.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have experience working with Industrial/Commercial equipment
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb, bend, twist, stand and reach repetitively, operate moving equipment and work in hot/cold/damp/cramped environment
• Excellent interpersonal, communications, organizational skills
• Must be able to work independently, as well as in a group setting
• Candidate may be required to pass a drug test and criminal background check based on job location/requirements

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain Dock levelers, edge of docks, lift tables, dock pads
• Perform PM's for the equipment
• Participate in PM optimization activities
• Service several hundred personal doors: fire, glass, pocket, sliding, revolving, card access, automatic, and hydraulic operated
• Service and maintain dozens of roll-up doors
• Assist with establishing and maintaining critical spares as needed
• Manage Fire door PM's and create PM schedule and protocols for fire doors
• Manage and determine sub-contractors when appropriate and oversee and help complete their work
• Repair and maintain motorized security gates and gate arms
