About The Position
Boston Dynamics is seeking a Staff Industrial Designer to help define and develop the visual design and usability of our robot platforms from concept through production. This is a position within a multidisciplinary design group devoted to defining and implementing high quality product experiences. Our products are highly complex, with competing technical requirements and multiple stakeholders. Within this R&D environment, our industrial designers work closely with the hardware teams, and are in constant collaboration with mechanical engineers. The work involves troubleshooting and compromise through a highly iterative design process. We are looking for someone who can translate these highly constrained problems with visually stunning solutions.
