About Our Opportunity The Industrial Designer I contributes to the development of innovative, user-centered products by deepening their understanding of the design process and the needs of our customers. Working closely with the senior design team, this role applies product knowledge and creative problem-solving to deliver design solutions that strengthen our expanding brand portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or a related field.
  • Entry-level experience; 1 year of internship or related professional design experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard 2D design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Experience using 3D modeling and rendering tools such as Rhino, KeyShot, or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior exposure to power tools or related consumer products is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting market and design trend analyses to inform product direction.
  • Support the development and execution of Visual Brand Language (VBL) systems.
  • Create and refine 2D design concepts that align with brand and user needs.
  • Produce 3D renderings and collaborate with internal and external 3D resources.
  • Evaluate human factors and participate in ergonomics and usability studies.
  • Engage in open studio critiques to provide and receive constructive feedback.
  • Prepare and deliver design presentations for internal teams and external Chervon partners.
  • Support user research initiatives and translate insights into design opportunities.
