About The Position
The position of Industrial Design Product Specialist supports new product innovation, the product development ‘funnel’ and industrial design for projects that transfer to the central product engineering group in the form of technical drawings, material specs and managing product vendor partnerships, as well as manages process and projects for governance, alignment and continuous improvement of our Parent Portfolio of products. Additional scope includes merchandising design assistance, product ergonomic and usability studies, aesthetic and user-interface trend analysis. This person will create and execute design solutions for problems of form, function, marketing and portfolio development. This role will also need to meet internal creative standards, budgetary guidelines and specific business goals assigned to each project which will stretch the boundaries of design and range from logical problem solving for ease of design and installation to creative execution of thoughtful and original design concepts. This role is based in Jasper, IN, operating on a hybrid schedule requiring on-site presence 3 days per week. Relocation assistance may be considered.
