Our passion is designing products that combine uncompromising function and honest aesthetics with ultimate ease-of-use. We seek an exceptional individual to join the team as a Design Intern focusing on new product development. The successful applicant must possess a background in industrial design, an analytical and creative mind, a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment, and an outstanding work ethic.

Requirements

• Completion of at least 3 years of a industrial design degree from an accredited institution
• Ability to generate solutions that optimize aesthetics, usability, and functionality.
• Experience using 3-D modeling software such as Solidworks
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Basic knowledge of common manufacturing processes
• Ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences through various media, including; Clear and concise language Drawing skills Digital image manipulation Clear and professional emails

Responsibilities

• Engage in brainstorm sessions with design and engineering teams.
• Conduct competitive market, technological and user research and provide summary reports.
• Create presentation renderings from digital models.
• Research and evaluate manufacturing processes, materials, and technologies.
• Assist in the construction of prototypes, and 3D form exploration through various media.
• Assist in development of assembly instruction, user manuals.
