About The Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Industrial Design Intern to
join our team for a summer internship. As an Industrial Design Intern, you will
gain hands-on experience in various aspects of the Product Development Process,
from concept generation, sample development, to customer feedback. This is an
excellent opportunity to learn from experienced Industrial Design professionals
and contribute to the growth of our business.

This internship offers an excellent opportunity for students interested in
gaining practical experience while working alongside experienced professionals
in a supportive environment.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college-level program related to Industrial Design
• Strong interest in furniture product development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• General knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• General knowledge of 3D Cad software
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong organizational skills.

• The ideal candidate would be located near our Jasper, IN headquarters and work primarily from this location.
• Currently enrolled in a college-level program related to Sales, Business, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Support in generating concepts / renderings
• Support in developing samples
• Participate in Customer Tours and presentations
• Attend and participate in internal training sessions and team meetings
• Collaborate with others in the design process including engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and suppliers
• Provide support for various administrative tasks as needed
