Location/Division Specific Information Millersburg, PA Site / Single Use Division Discover Impactful Work: As an Industrial Engineer for our site, you will be engineering projects and supporting the manufacturing operations with the goal of growing efficiency, quality, and productivity. In this role, you will work with the business in optimizing current processes to improve manufacturability of product for quality, ergonomic, and efficiency improvements.

Requirements

  • Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's Degree (Preferred degree in Science in Industrial Engineering or Industrial & Systems Engineering).
  • 2+ years of Industrial Engineering experience in a GMP environment.
  • Confirmed experience with Lean and Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish relationships and positively influence leadership and all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to drive strategic thinking and continuous improvement in both non-operational and operational areas, including connecting cross-functional resources to improve manufacturability.
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, and Minitab (or another related statistics program).
  • Work in a controlled manufacturing environment; required to lift 25 lbs repetitively and may be required to stand for long periods of time while performing duties.
  • Ability to work safely with materials, equipment, and gowning at various levels.
  • Exposure to fumes and chemicals such as raw materials, cleaners, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior AutoCAD and/or Solidworks experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with change management of product drawings.
  • Complete component qualifications for new and existing product lines.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes to develop standard work to improve operator safety, improve quality of work, and increase labor utilization.
  • Design and develop new equipment or tools to improve manufacturability.
  • Conduct sensitivity analysis on different scenarios on both demand and operations bottlenecks to help determine go-forward plans to achieve growth objectives, considering longer-term action plans and applying industrial engineering tools to new problems and processes.
