Industrial Controls Maintenance Technician (Allen‑Bradley Systems) Location: Monroe, OH What a night on our floor looks like At 7:00 PM, you step onto a stable, well-run production floor and become the go-to problem solver for standalone manufacturing equipment. A drive trips? You track it down, verify with your meter, and bring the VFD back online. A sensor is chattering? You trace the control circuit, interpret the print, and restore reliable feedback. Need a quick bracket? You weld and fabricate a clean, safe fix. When a line hesitates, you review Allen‑Bradley PLC tags and I/O to pinpoint the fault. Every repair and PM gets documented in the CMMS before you hand off a reliable machine. Schedule Permanent Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM 2-2-3 rotating pattern 88 paid hours per two-week cycle with built-in overtime Compensation & Benefits Average annual earnings: $65,000–$95,000 (includes built-in overtime and quarterly profit sharing) $3,000 sign-on bonus (tiered payout) Medical, dental, and vision effective Day 1 401(k) with company match Tool replacement program Tuition assistance after one year What you’ll take on Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on industrial machinery Execute preventative maintenance to maximize uptime Troubleshoot motors, VFDs, sensors, and control circuits Read and apply electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics Perform welding and light fabrication as needed Accurately capture work details in the CMMS What you bring 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting Proven electrical troubleshooting skills; exposure to 480V preferred Working knowledge of Allen‑Bradley PLCs is a plus Confident using a meter and interpreting electrical prints Consistent work history with a strong commitment to safety Technical strengths Plumbing fundamentals Mechanical troubleshooting 120/208/240/480 VAC systems Hydraulics competency Electrical diagnostics and repair Pneumatics troubleshooting Accurate tape measure use General maintenance and repair aptitude Hands-on manufacturing experience Blueprint/schematic reading If you’re energized by solving controls and electro‑mechanical challenges on the night shift and want predictable hours, strong benefits, and a reliable environment, this role is built for you.
