Make an impact from day one Based in Horse Cave, KY, you’ll be the go-to expert ensuring our automated equipment and processes run smoothly and safely. You’ll blend hands-on electrical work with controls troubleshooting and continuous improvement to keep production at peak performance.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Automation, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience as a Controls Technician (or comparable role).
• Strong command of control systems, PLCs, and reading electrical schematics.
• Sharp troubleshooting skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Comfort working independently and collaborating across teams.
• Clear, professional communication—written and verbal.
• Flexibility to adjust hours and respond to urgent situations when needed.

Responsibilities

• Keep control systems online through expert installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid downtime.
• Diagnose and correct issues in electrical and control circuits with speed and precision.
• Partner with engineering and production to fine-tune system performance.
• Capture accurate documentation for all maintenance, repairs, and updates.
• Support system upgrades—planning, implementing, and validating improvements.
• Offer technical assistance and on-the-spot training to teammates.
• Program and edit Allen‑Bradley PLCs to support operational needs.
