About The Position

Intrepid is seeking an experienced Industrial Control Systems HVAC Technician with a minimum of five years of experience specializing in HVAC control systems. The ideal candidate will maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize automated HVAC systems and other mission-critical control systems, ensuring the reliable operation of base facilities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial control systems, with at least 3 years specializing in HVAC systems.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC automation, including PLCs, DDC systems, SCADA, and building management systems (BMS).
  • Experience with networked control systems and ICS cybersecurity best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and HVAC control logic.
  • Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License
  • Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements, as outlined in the USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD EIGHTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL-UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICY
  • Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Qatar
  • Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
  • Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
  • Must have and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial control systems with a primary focus on HVAC automation.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on HVAC-related PLCs, DDC systems, SCADA, and building automation systems.
  • Configure, program, and upgrade HVAC control systems to meet operational requirements.
  • Monitor ICS networks and HVAC system performance for faults, security vulnerabilities, and system integrity issues.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and operations personnel to optimize HVAC and facility control system functionality.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of HVAC control system configurations, maintenance actions, and incidents.
  • Support emergency response protocols for ICS or HVAC system failures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, cybersecurity standards, and operational policies.
