About The Position

Marshall Industrial Technologies is a growing employee-owned multi-location industrial service provider, striving to deliver superior welding, fabricating, mechanical maintenance, installation, HVAC, and electrical services throughout the Lehigh Valley and surrounding PA/NJ counties. We are looking for experienced Piping/Millwright Foreman to expand our business. With over seven decades of experience, we are prepared to meet the capital project and plant maintenance needs of our customers and can respond rapidly to any emergency installation and repair needs. Our goal is to be the first call for industrial work, aiming to be the #1 single-source solution for equipment installation, machinery repair, electrical work, and plant maintenance needs. We focus on safety and quality processes, delivering solid results for new construction, expansion, maintenance, and capital development, excelling in sanitary and highly regulated industries including pharmaceutical, chemical, flavors & fragrances, food & beverage, as well as most heavy industries.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of Foreman experience.
  • Must complete pre-employment physical exam and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of experience in industrial construction (Preferred)
  • 5 years of experience in welding (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the quality and safety of projects and provide planning and direction to the assigned crew of craftsmen.
  • Plan, coordinate and supervise construction activities of craft employees.
  • Review scope documents, drawings, and specifications thoroughly.
  • Study project execution and tracking documents including project execution plan, project safety plan, QA/QC plan, schedule, manpower loading projections, equipment rental schedule, installed quantity and labor tracking plan, and subcontracting strategy.
  • Ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
  • Interface with Management to ensure adherence to company, client, and project policies and procedures.
  • Interface with all project team members to establish project schedules and resolve schedule problems.
  • Provide leadership and management for craftsmen, organizing and laying out work for crews.
  • Ensure availability of materials, drawings, manpower, specifications, tools, consumables, and equipment when needed.
  • Utilize appropriate computer software for project planning, execution, and tracking.
  • Provide prioritized work activity instructions to all crews and monitor their progress.
  • Assist with the implementation and interpretation of safety programs.
  • Verify maintenance of associated codes as required per project.
  • Maintain strict adherence to company and regulatory policies.
  • Mentor craft personnel for professional development.
  • Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy.
  • Follow oral and written directions.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
