About The Position

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of prior planning/scheduling experience in construction management.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, Navisworks, Microsoft Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, and Word.
  • Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing, and solving problems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and think creatively and analytically.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in construction of manufacturing facilities.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling and resource loading techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update project schedules and curves for civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical/instrumentation components.
  • Analyze critical path impacts and lead schedule mitigation planning and execution.
  • Coordinate project schedules and assist with the development of scheduling reports.
  • Assist Project Manager in reviewing data, maintaining logs, and running reports for site planning and controls.
  • Develop, interpret, and execute policies and standards applicable to schedule control and analysis activities.
  • Work with clients and project teams to ensure accurate and timely deliverables relating to overall project status.
  • Collect, review, revise, and maintain historical schedule data.
  • Administer project schedule analysis and examine problem areas to determine criticality of schedule activities.
  • Suggest alternatives for schedule improvement to project teams for discussion and decision making.
  • Prepare and present planning and scheduling information to management and clients.
