About The Position

Precision Industrial Contractors has multiple openings for Industrial Concrete Finishers, Form Carpenters, and Heavy Equipment Operators. Job Duties Smooth Industrial Concrete Finishers Setting and verifying forms that hold concrete in place for industrial flatwork. Cleaning, inspecting, and preparing surfaces to ensure proper placement and finish quality. Directing concrete placement with truck drivers and pump operators. Pouring, smoothing, and leveling concrete to achieve high-tolerance, smooth industrial finishes using rakes, screeds, trowels, floats, and power trowels. Monitoring weather conditions and adjusting finishing techniques to ensure proper curing. Applying sealers, hardeners, and curing compounds to meet industrial specifications. Safely operating power vibrators to ensure proper consolidation of concrete. Constructing expansion and control joints using joiners and edging tools. Polishing and finishing surfaces using ride-on and walk-behind power surfacing machines to meet flatness and levelness requirements (FF/FL). Form Carpenters Building, setting, and stripping concrete forms for foundations, slabs, and structural concrete. Installing embeds, anchors, and block-outs per project drawings. Ensuring forms are properly aligned, braced, and secured prior to concrete placement. Equipment Operators Safely operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, skid steers, loaders, backhoes, dozers, graders, rollers, and forklifts. Assisting with site preparation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and material handling. Performing daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance. Coordinating with concrete and forming crews to support job site operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a smooth industrial concrete finisher or in high-tolerance concrete flatwork.
  • Proven ability to achieve smooth, level, and polished finishes for industrial, commercial, or warehouse slabs.
  • Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools including power trowels, vibrators, laser screeds, polishers, cutting saws, and edging tools.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, and work for long periods and lift heavy materials.
  • Ability to work shifts, nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in concrete forming.
  • Must be able to read tape measure and operator all hand tools safely.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment.
  • Strong understanding of equipment safety and maintenance practices.
  • Valid driver’s license
