Civil Construction Contractors, LLC, is currently seeking EXPERIENCED, TWIC carrying CONCRETE FINISHERS with INDUSTRIAL experience to join our team of construction individuals servicing many locations in South East Louisiana. All work performed will be in the industrial workplace. Industrial construction experience preferred but not required. Candidates must have a valid TWIC card and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical. Concrete Finisher Job Responsibilities include but not limited to: Execute safe work practices necessary to perform job functions in an industrial setting. Working knowledge of concrete placement and best practices. Assists and perform in sub grade leveling activities as needed. Assists in formwork- wood or pre-engineered forms as needed. Assists or performs rebar installation as needed. Placement, floating and finishing surfaces of poured concrete paving and foundations. Ability and working knowledge of various hand and power tools required to perform job duties in a safe manner. Concrete Finisher Physical Requirements: Must have the ability to communicate effectively with management/ supervision. Ability to physically lift of objects in weight up to 60 pounds. Ability to work in different weather conditions (Heat, Cold, Rain, Etc.) Climbing of ladders, stairs, and structures. Work at above grade and below grade elevations. Must be able to examine, and observe details Other Concrete Finisher Requirements: Valid TWIC required Valid Basic Plus, preferred Safety Requirements: Candidates must understand and potentially learn to identify and avoid all safety hazards related to the work. Candidates must adhere to all safety rules, policies and procedures designated by safety. Remain actively involved in JSA procedures and audits. Physical Requirements: Climbing of ladders, stairs, and structures. Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood framework, stairs, ladders and scaffolds. Carry up to 50 lbs. or assist with up to 100 lbs. Ability to safely walk on uneven surfaces and other adverse soil conditions.
