Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for a Industrial Cleaning/ Waste Managerto join our Final Assembly Line based in Mobile, AL. This is an entry level, non-supervisory position focused on hazardous and non-hazardous waste related projects and is responsible for processing industrial cleaning and bulk waste handling. The Facilities Coordinator - Industrial ensures customer satisfaction and needs are met by using available resources in the most efficient and effective way. Manage and improve services and suppliers to ensure delivery on time, quality and cost. Your challenges: Day to day facility operations: 75% Manage WMSS onsite program, including manual labor associated with drum movements within the facility, drum bulking, drum crushing, assisting when extra personnel are needed, and other duties as assigned. This is a non-supervisory position focused on hazardous and non-hazardous waste related projects. Identify best practices that assist customers in reducing waste volumes, increasing operational efficiencies, identifying optimal equipment usage and generating cost savings. Segregate, label, mark and package waste materials in a safe and compliant manner. Collect, pour, transfer, consolidate, repackage and package solid, liquid & sludge material. Manage labor intensive activities such as container or drum collection, drum bulking, sorting trash for recyclables, and loading of trucks. Transfer waste into containers of different sizes. Provide labor support at 90 Day Hazardous Waste Pad, when applicable. Wears required personal protective equipment. Manages and cooperates in safety process, including following written procedures, attending required training and scheduled meetings. Maintains compliance with applicable environmental, safety and transportation regulations (EPA, OSHA, and DOT). Must be able to work independently with little direction, and as a member of a team. Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding, machine operation, etc) most of the work day. exert physical effort in handling objects up to 30 pounds most of the work day. Required to exert physical effort in handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally. Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, etc) most of the work day. Required to be exposed to a physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday. Ability to perform tasks in inclement weather. Manage the movement of recyclable material through the facility, conduct material grading and evaluate for sale destination. Manage the movement of material through the facility with the use of material handling equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jack, handcarts, hoists, cranes) as required. Manage the loading of materials into vehicles and see to it that strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit is installed. Uses PC tablets to dispense and receive information such as part numbers, quantities, locations, comments, etc. Manages the conveying of materials from storage or work sites to designated area. Manages identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers. Properly document work performed. Conducts material audits. Analyze and improve service delivery: 20% Recommend and manage initiatives to increase and improve service delivery considering both cost and quality - KPI Management. Simplify the complex process and procedures to reduce administrative actions. Promote, master and apply new information technology tools. Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned: 5%
