Industrial Cleaning Technician
About The Position
Essential Responsibility: Prevents dust accumulation throughout the facilities by performing the following duties: List of Key Tasks / Primary Responsibilities: Remove Combustible dust. Cleaning ceilings, piping, and equipment. Use and maintain industrial vacuums and accessories. Track all cleaning activities in Maintenance Management System. Fill out requisitions for supplies needed. Operate scissor and/or boom lift Wear and properly maintain personal fall protection equipment. Lockout equipment and areas as applicable. Work as a Safety Technician Helper when cleaning work is unavailable. Other duties as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent on the job experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, policies, and emails.
- Ability to write/type short cleaning details into daily check sheet.
- Ability to go through combustible dust training for job requirements.
- Upholds Standards of Quality, Cost, and Safety by following the Company's standards and guidelines for maintaining quality, cost, and safety; by taking initiative to make these points top priority at the Company; by immediately reporting any conditions that do not uphold the standards of quality, cost, and safety to the Supervisor or Management; and by making suggestions for necessary improvements to uphold these standards as necessary.

- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to use a computer and such applications as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint and be able to design custom reports as necessary.
- Must be tactful, mature, flexible and able to successfully respond to multiple work pressures.
