About The Position

Hohman Plating, a division of Novaria Group, is a leading service provider for plated coatings. We serve a diversified customer base including aerospace, medical, large equipment and more. In business since 1918, we are seeking long-term employees to join our team. Conveniently located one mile north of downtown Dayton. Hohman Plating offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, LTD/STD, Life, 401K match, Bonus and more. This position is 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, 3pm to 11:30pm. Initial training during 1st shift hours. SUMMARY OF JOB Keeps processing plant, offices, and grounds in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties. The candidate is expected to be a self-starter, a good manager of time, work independently and follow Hohman Plating standards for safety and conduct.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Sweeps, mops, scrubs, aisles and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space.
Cleans restrooms.
Cleans office windows and doors.
Empties trash and garbage containers into dumpsters.
Maintains building, performing minor and routine painting, and other related maintenance activities.
Replaces air conditioner filters.
Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
Cleans snow and debris from sidewalk.
Mows lawn, trims shrubbery.
Documents completed tasks and findings on checklists and work orders
Provides support to Maintenance Technicians.
Other duties as assigned.
