About The Position

The Industrial Cleaning Associate at Hohman Plating is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in the processing plant, offices, and grounds. This role requires a self-starter who can manage their time effectively, work independently, and adhere to safety and conduct standards set by the company. The position involves various cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and pleasant working environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs, and office space.
• Cleans restrooms and office windows and doors.
• Empties trash and garbage containers into dumpsters.
• Maintains the building by performing minor and routine painting and other related maintenance activities.
• Replaces air conditioner filters.
• Notifies management concerning the need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
• Cleans snow and debris from sidewalks.
• Mows lawn and trims shrubbery.
• Documents completed tasks and findings on checklists and work orders.
• Provides support to Maintenance Technicians.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
