About The Position

Industrial Cleaner Calling All Industrial Cleaners! Now Hiring Our Next Cleanliness Champion Schedule: 🕒 Weekend Warrior + Weekday Night Owl Schedule! Work Saturday & Sunday, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM, then switch gears Monday & Tuesday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM. Location: Statesville Blvd Cleveland, NC 27013 💰 Competitive pay included—because great work deserves great pay! Position Qualifications / Skills: To succeed in this role, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A strong work ethic and a sharp eye for detail (because “good enough” isn’t always good enough). Ability to work in hot, dirty, or industrial environments while wearing required PPE—looking cool is optional, being safe is not. Ability to climb ladders and periodically work in confined spaces for filter replacement and daily cleaning procedures. Position Responsibilities: The Industrial Cleaner is the behind-the-scenes hero who keeps paint booth stations and surrounding areas clean, safe, and functional using approved industrial cleaners and consumables. Responsibilities include: Battling paint overspray on windows, stairs, ceilings, and concrete surfaces using approved chemicals and supplies (victory is shiny). Assisting with project cleaning, including lifting and removing metal flooring grates—yes, they’re heavy, and yes, it counts as a workout. Operating various machinery and equipment such as pressure washers, hydraulic scrapers, and other industrial tools that make big messes disappear. Stepping in to help complete the workload when other service workers are unavailable, including filter replacement and occasional work in confined spaces. Reporting any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the supervisor (machines don’t fix themselves—yet). Discussing work or scheduling concerns with the supervisor and/or management only—no rumor mills required. Locking and/or unlocking doors when needed (responsibility included at no extra charge). Attending training meetings and sessions to stay sharp, safe, and in the know. Required Qualifications: Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions; training is provided daily and/or weekly. Excellent attendance and punctuality—you’re dependable and it shows. Ability to successfully complete required safety training, including: Ladder Safety Confined Space Safety Lockout/Tagout Procedures Physical Demands: This position requires physical activity consistent with an industrial environment. Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, and reach with arms and hands. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally required to talk or hear (team communication matters). Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus—spotting grime is part of the job.
