About The Position

The Industrial Cleaner position at Mercury Plastics, a Masco Corporation, is in Middlefield, OH. As part of our Maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities. This role will work Full Time on 2nd shift which is from 3:00PM-11:00PM, Monday-Friday.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• At least 1 year of experience in facilities maintenance or janitorial roles
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment and strictly follow safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Empty trash, clean and disinfect all offices and commonly used spaces at Mercury Plastics.
• Ensure all facilities are cleaned and sanitized especially high traffic areas or equipment like tables, chairs, microwaves, counters, etc..
• Ensure all restrooms, cafeterias and commonly used spaces are kept full of necessary paper and soap products.
• Maintain all tile and carpet floors including strip, wax and carpet cleaning when required.
• Follow an established routine schedule at all locations.
• Maintain all recycling stations
• Perform any other assigned duties as needed to support the team
